Get a real job?

The other day on Twitter, I came across a tweet about an article focusing on how to get your family and friends to stop telling you to get a real job; it's basically for folks who work at home.

This very subject is something I've struggled with from time to time (and sometimes still do) so I was very glad to read this. The writer, Jennifer Mattern, says our friends and family's concerns are understandable for a couple of reasons:

  1. These people love you and really do want what's best for you
  2. People really don't understand what you do.
Anyhoo, it's a really good article with great tips so if this something you deal with, go check it out: How to Shut up Friends and Family Who Tell You to "Get a Real Job"

Peace & Blessings,
